2021 season opens Saturday, May 15th!
The Haddonfield Farmers’ Market is back for the 2021 season, returning to its original location in Kings Court. Opening day for the Farmers’ Market is Saturday, May 15 at 8:30 a.m., and includes a ribbon-cutting ceremony, opening remarks by Secretary of Agriculture Douglas H. Fisher, New Jersey Department of Agriculture, special gifts for the first 50 visitors and many festivities celebrating Community Farmers Market Week.
“I am looking forward to opening day of this wonderful market and supporting our farmers,” Secretary Fisher said. “It is a great gathering place for the people in the community and provides a fantastic option to purchase delicious produce throughout the season.”
The market will run every Saturday through October 16, with additional activities planned throughout the season.
While 2020 was a trying year for everyone, the Haddonfield Farmers’ Market plans to bring more life and fun to the community in 2021. Vendors, new and old, will be properly spaced apart, and visitors are encouraged to wear masks and maintain a six foot distance from each other. Student volunteers will help with the Market operations, plus there will be engaging activities for children, and pets.
